Made in Borås is the winning proposal of Europan 15 in 2019. The project honors Borås’s identity and its rich industrial and textile heritage, while integrating these elements with Gässlösa’s distinctive location along the Viskan River.

By reaffirming the city's riverscape as a powerful tool for renewing Gässlösa, the proposal envisions a vibrant, climate-adapted district that offers high-quality urban living. This approach culminated in the concept of a metropolitan river park at the heart of Borås—a dynamic framework for future development that introduces the spatial qualities needed for denser, more livable urban environments.
