In collaboration with AART Architects, we reimagined the urban edge and uncovered the forgotten delta of the Alna River. Our proposal—Kongshavnfjordpark—envisions a marine knowledge centre deeply embedded in the landscape.
This vision is anchored in the site's proximity to the fjord, the lost Alna River delta, and the area's distinctive geology. From this foundation, a new urban narrative unfolds—one that integrates a knowledge hub devoted to marine ecology and grounded in its natural context.
Kongshavnfjordpark aspires to foster awareness, curiosity, and a deeper cultural connection to the emerging blue Marka and its fragile ecosystem. It will serve as a gateway to nature—an inviting destination where learning, exploration, and inspiration go hand in hand.
